ACT is not just a lamp, but an invitation. The activation of the light is possible by loading the object with any glass. In this way, viewers become users through interaction. The glass is transformed into a lampshade. The base is made of regional wood, creating a sustainable housing from a renewable raw material. Loading it with a reused glass gives the viewer a different perspective on the old and puts upcycling in a different light. The aim of the object is the interaction itself, which turns a simple everyday object into a questioning element.
ACT can be produced regionally in a turnery and supports the local craft.
